In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was listening to my mother play the piano while I sat right next to her. She used to teach piano but, ironically, I never picked it up until I started making my own records.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Che Ecru, Til Death Drake, Views PARTYNEXTDOOR, PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO Reminds me of my childhood, listening to these R&B legends in the dead of winter coming back from class. They've really shaped my sound today and inspire me to take my music even further to expand the genre.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing to a sold out crowd in my hometown of Toronto. It was an amazing moment to see everybody who supported me pop out in the city I grew up in and sing all the songs word for word.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to tour with a full band. I want to travel the world and share my experiences through music. My goal is to reach as many people as possible so they can use my music as an escape.
