About Erin Bowman
Artist Biography
Vocalist Erin Bowman makes bright, dance-oriented pop influenced by the '90s sound of artists like P!nk, Gwen Stefani, the Spice Girls, and TLC. Born in 1990 in Hamilton, New Jersey, Bowman grew up singing, and by junior high school had joined the choir. At age 18 she began working with producers in New York City, writing and recording her own songs. During this time she caught the ear of television composer David Wolfert, who hired her to sing on his themes for several Pokémon series, including "Battle Cry (Stand Up!)" and "Black and White," both for Pokémon: Black & White, and "I Believe in You" for Zoroark: Master of Illusions. Buoyed by this success, Bowman pushed forward on her solo career, and in 2011 released her debut single, "Problem." The song was quickly picked up by SiriusXM Radio and, along with steady live performances and a strong social media presence, helped garner her a loyal following. A second single, "King Boy," followed in 2013 and further raised her profile. A year later, Bowman delivered her third single, the exuberant "Hey Summer," which racked up over 30,000 views online. She returned with the single "Good Time Good Life" in 2016. ~ Matt Collar
