About Erika
Artist Biography
Erika is a world-renowned techno DJ and live analog synth master, both on her own and as part of the Detroit electro group Ectomorph. She got her start in college radio during the 1990s, then ran an online radio station for nearly 20 years. Active as a member of Ectomorph since 1997, she has continued developing an ever-evolving form of analog techno using live hardware sequencing. Her first solo recording, an album of spacy, subtle electro-techno titled Hexagon Cloud, appeared in 2013. Anevite Void, a refined ambient techno-leaning set, arrived in 2023.
