Sweden's Enforcer meld heavy, speed, and glam metal. As other bands sought the new, Enforcer embraced those traditions without irony. Their 2008 debut long-player Into the Night won critical acclaim for its retro approach and classy songwriting. 2010's Diamonds careened across hooky speed metal and glam boogie, while 2013's Death by Fire doubled down on melodic hooks, riffs, and vamps. 2015's From Beyond, a collision of hair and power metal, spawned a live album at year's end. Following continental tours, Enforcer returned with 2019's uncharacteristically polished, progressive Zenith before sitting out the pandemic. In 2023, Enforcer re-emerged with Nostalgia.
Members of Enforcer include, or have included, Olof Wikstrand, Joseph Tholl, and Jonas Wikstrand.
