In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up around music as long as I can remember between my Jamaican dad always playing reggae and oldies, and my mom taking me to her church rehearsals. I started playing the sax at 11 and since then, my love for all kinds of music grew.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Braxton Cook, Somewhere In Between Frank Ocean, Blonde boy pablo, Soy Pablo - EP These 3 albums encompass everything I love about music. Each album inspired me to write music in their own ways during the seasons when I was obsessed with them. I hope to evoke those same emotions from my listeners, but with a message of Hope.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Holy Savior” Holy Savior is probably my most complete song to date. From the vocals, songwriting, instrumentation and arrangement, everything just came together perfectly and I can honestly say this was the first song I've ever made that I was fully confident in.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable experience was getting to perform my song Beautiful during Caleb Gordon's tour. I was nervous and unprepared, but I was reminded that it's for God's glory and not mine. It was also fun getting to share the stage with my friends.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My greatest wish is to perform a sold-out Christian festival with my friends. Kenny Rivers, Caleb Gordon, Alex Jean, and more Orlando-based artists are really my day ones and seeing everyones growth from the ground up is insanely inspiring.
