In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memories are listening to my Mom & Dad play guitar and sing in our home.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gang Starr, Daily Operation Johnny Hammond, Gears Lil' Louis, The World, Journey With The Lonely These 3 albums round out my musical tastes between Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, and House. Each belongs in a different genre while still having the common threads of Jazz and innovation.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Isis (Yoruba Soul Mix)” Isis is a musical tribute my daughter of the same name. This version was a collaboration between myself and Osunlade, who is one of my music inspirations.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was playing the main stage at Southport Weekender in the UK with a packed house and a variety of House Music legends on the side of the stage, including Terry Hunter & Kenny Dope.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list includes traveling the world to places I haven't yet visited to play music for a wide variety of people. Sharing music I love and have created with people internationally is my passion.
