About Elliott Trent
Artist Biography
Singer, songwriter, and producer Elliott Trent describes himself as “an R&B singer full of vibes.” In addition to releasing his own material, he’s written for the likes of Usher, Kehlani, and Chris Brown.
• Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Trent started singing at age nine, writing songs at 11, and producing at 16. He was influenced by singers like Michael Jackson, Mario, and Usher (with whom he would later collaborate).
• He started dropping songs on SoundCloud and released his first mixtape, Crescendo, in 2015.
• In 2017, he produced rapper Trippie Redd’s “Love Scars,” a massive streaming hit that’s been certified double platinum. The following year, he cowrote five songs off “A”, the joint project by Usher and Zaytoven. He also cowrote Chris Brown’s 2019 track “Flashbacks,” a song originally intended for Noah Cyrus.
• Trent released his debut EP, Into the Night, in 2020.
