About Elijah Blake
Artist Biography
Elijah Blake is in a small class of active contemporary R&B singers who can express anguish and delight with small changes in inflection. Although he debuted as a teenager in 2006 as Redd Stylez, Blake made real headway a few years later as a co-writer of Trey Songz's "Jupiter Love," and in 2012, he hit the Top 20 of the Hot 100 as co-writer of Usher's "Climax." Blake assisted the likes of Nas, Rick Ross, and Rihanna before he released his confident first mixtape, Bijoux 22 (2012). Later affiliated with No I.D.'s ARTium label, Blake put together Drift (2014) and Shadows & Diamonds (2015) while refining his swaggering if self-examining brand of R&B. His subsequent independent projects include Audiology (2017), The Neon Eon (2021), and elijah. (2024), which merely account for the full-lengths issued amid numerous singles and short-form efforts.
