Electrik Red is a female R&B outfit that combines elements of pop, R&B, and hip-hop, throwing in some light world music rhythm for flavor. Naomi and Sarah hail from Toronto, and Leslie and Binkie are New York City natives--together they form a glamorously stylish quartet that draws influence from ‘80s synth-driven pop and contemporary club grooves. Signed by industry heavyweight the Dream to Radio and produced by Ken Michael, Electrik Red released the popular single “Drink in My Cup” (featuring the Dream) in 2008.
