Ednita Nazario is among the most recorded, beloved, and consistently charting Latin pop stars of her generation. She climbed to idol status among Puerto Rican youth with her group, the Kids from Ponce. Her debut solo record, Al Fin...Ednita!, won her Best New Artist and Best Album of the Year. Fuerza de Gravidad marked her transition from a youth icon to an artist with adult appeal. The landmark Pasiones produced 11 number one hits, becoming one of 1994's most important records.
