Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I spent a lot of time alone in my room as a young teenager when my sick grandfather moved in with me and Dad. Around that time, I found Dad's 1980's Washburn and learned every John Mayer song I could. Then, I decided to put my own pen to paper.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Billy Squier, Don't Say No (Remastered) Marvin Gaye, What's Going On Remastered Radiohead, The Bends These are the albums that transcend space and time for me. Then again, if you came back and asked me tomorrow "what are your top 3 albums of all time?" this list may look different. But best believe, i will always give these albums their flowers.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Know Me Better” My song “Know Me Better” was a huge turning point in my career. It was my first song to break one million streams and was the first song I poured my heart into. This song will always be the song that made me realize music was my “thing”.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I will never forget going to class one day in Sophomore year of high school and everyone loving the song I had previously uploaded to the internet the night before. I really hope that song never resurfaces, it was absolutely terrible.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list is never ending. But I just need to experience that moment where the folks in the crowd sing my lyrics back to me and I don’t have to sing a single word. Oh, and make a song with Chris Stapleton.
