Artist Biography
Contemporary R&B singer/songwriter Drea was born Andrea Rachelle Albert in Kansas City. Her career began in 1997, when her a cappella performance won a local talent show; there she met a talent scout who introduced her to producer Kenny "Smoove" Kornegay, who in turn signed her to his Spoiled Rotten Music company. Still just 17 years old, Drea issued her debut LP A Dream Come True in 1999. ~ Jason Ankeny
