Domenico Lancellotti is a singer, songwriter, drummer/multi-instrumentalist, producer, and visual artist. The son of samba legend Ivor Lancellotti, he has played on, written for, recorded, and produced dozens of records that seek to extend Brazil's rich musical traditions by grafting EDM, rock, psychedelia, Latin, post-punk, cumbia, reggae, hip-hop, and funk onto his country's classic folk and pop forms. In 2000, he formed the +2s with Moreno Veloso and Alexandre Kassin, and issued three groundbreaking albums between 2000 and 2006 using alternating leaders: Lancellotti was leader for Sincerely Hot. He has played with several bands including Os Ritmistas, Meia Banda, and Orquestra Imperial. In addition, he has issued the notable solo outings Cine Privê (2011), The Good Is a Big God (2016), Raio (2021), and SRAMBA (2023).
Domenico Lancellotti has also released music as a member of Kassin+2 and Domenico+2.
