Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My brother introduced me to Hip Hop. He introduced me to the culture that changed my life and raised me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dizzee Rascal, Boy In Da Corner Nas, Illmatic Public Enemy, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back These are pivotal albums for the culture. Flawless bodies of work by my favourite artists.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Floor Shake (feat. BackRoad Gee & Kwesi Arthur)” I created a track. Kwesi Arthur rapped on it, which inspired me to flip it into a sturdy Drill banger. I sent it to Backroad Gee, he killed it and we now have a dope international anthem. I love how it came together, and love how it sounds.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Thursday night, 26th August 2021 I opened Leeds Festival. It was the first national event after the Covid pandemic & 60,000 people were ready to turn up. The energy of the crowd will forever be incomparable. Easily the best gig of my life thus far.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to create indelible bangers that resonate worldwide. I'm working on them.
