Artist Biography
North Carolina rapper DJ Luke Nasty made some noise in high school, but his real breakthrough came with his 2015 remix of Anderson .Paak’s “Might Be.”
• In high school, Luke was a member of rap crew 336 Boyz. They quickly graduated from rapping in their school cafeteria to performing on BET’s 106 & Park and opening shows for Soulja Boy and Young Dro.
• Luke first tasted solo stardom in 2015, when the remix he posted of Anderson .Paak’s “Might Be” became a national sensation.
• His 2016 debut solo project, Highway Music: Stuck in Traffic, includes a second “Might Be” remix featuring 2 Chainz and Maino.
• Highway Music: Stuck in Traffic also includes “OTW,” a gold-selling radio hit that spawned a remix featuring 2 Chainz.
