Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was about 4 years old when I was watching MTV and I see this woman come across my screen looking nearly cartoonish and so interesting. That music video later turned out to be "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly) by Missy Elliott.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Missy Elliott, Supa Dupa Fly I love everything about the album, from the intro with Busta Rhymes (who reminds me a lot of my father), the interludes, the instrumentation, the feminine and masculine mix of the lyrics as well as the intentions. It's the embodiment of the 90s sound
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment thus far would have to be performing at "Eaux Claire III" a few years ago for Bon Iver with Naeem Juwan. I never "performed" in front of that many people in my life and the feeling was so exciting and invigorating.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to produce music for folks like Sade, Doechii, Ley Soul, Durand Bernarr, WE ARE KING, Tylar J, Behold, UzO, just to name a few. I also want to perform on a major network awards show, just for the one time, show the girls!
