In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Going to see Madonna live during her Confessions on a Dancefloor tour. It was just me, my sister, & a sea of gays. It was definitely my cannon event. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Justice, Justice
Lana Del Rey, Born to Die
Madonna, Confessions on a Dance Floor
Madonna- Confessions on a Dancefloor: This album made me fall in love with dance pop music & was the first live concert I ever attended.
Justice- Justice: Dance perfection!
Lana Del Rey- Born to Die: This album got me through my tumultuous teens. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Power (feat. Magdalena Bay)”
I wrote this song with Mag Bay during a super low point in my life. We got in the studio and decided to write a song that would help us feel empowered instead. I still listen to it sometimes when I feel down. <3 What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
This past year, I've toured 60+ cities, DJed festivals like GoldRush, & opened for artists like Cobrah, Ninajirachi, & Matt Bennett. One of my fave moments was playing a sold out show at Webster Hall & hearing the crowd sing along to one of my songs. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
So many things... I want to travel the world touring in different countries, perform on iconic stages like Madison Square Garden & Red Rocks, and play some of my favorite shows like SNL & Jimmy Fallon.
