About Die Lochis
Artist Biography
Die Lochis consists of twin German brothers, Heiko and Roman Lochmann, who originally rose to fame with their tongue-in-cheek renditions of popular songs via their online video channel. Started in 2011, their channel, DieLochis, quickly found a fan base and the following year was awarded the Audience Award for "Newbie" at the German Webvideopreis Awards. By 2013 the twins had started to produce their own original material, and earned their first chart placement with the track "Durchgehend Online." With TV appearances, magazine interviews, and their continuous online presence, the brothers' fan base grew, with singles hitting not just the German charts, but the Austrian and Swiss ones as well. At the beginning of 2015 the pair headed out on their first national tour, while also directing and starring in their first feature-length film, Bruder von Luder. In August 2016 the twins released their debut album, #zwilling, which went straight to the number one spot in the German and Austrian charts. ~ Rich Wilson
