One of the most prominent German industrial acts of the 1980s and ‘90s, Die Krupps started out as a punk-inspired electronic act, specializing in aggressive, keyboard-driven tracks that are best embodied by ‘81's VOLLE KRAFT VORAUS! After a period of creativity stagnation in the late ‘80s, the Dusseldorf-based ensemble reemerged with a heavier guitar-oriented sound, strongly influenced by Metallica, as evinced by ‘93’s TRIBUTE TO METALLICA EP. Though not as active in the 21st century, the group continues to tour Europe every few years.
