About Deep Dish
Artist Biography
DJ duo Deep Dish consists of Iranian Americans Sharam Tayebi and Ali “Dubfire” Shirazinia. The team is well known for creating dance remixes of pop songs by mainstream acts like Madonna and Cher, but Deep Dish is equally renowned for the genre-defying live sets and their collections of original material such as 1998’s Junk Science and 2005’s George Is On, which show their command of progressive house, dance, and techno. Deep Dish has remixed tracks by Dido, Everything But the Girl, Eminem, and Fleetwood Mac, among many others. The duo own and run several dance music record labels, including Deep Dish, Yoshitoshi Shinichi, and Yo.
