The North Carolina-based Christian rock act Decyfer Down debuted its heavy post-grunge sound on 2006’s END OF GREY, which was warmly embraced by metal-loving CCM fans. The group’s sophomore outing was delayed by the departure of vocalist Caleb Oliver, but got back on track when Decyfer Down recruited T.J. Harris (formerly of Fighting Instinct) as their new singer. Harris’s first album with the band, CRASH, was issued in the spring of ’09, just in time for them to tour with kindred spirits Disciple and Skillet.
Members of Decyfer Down include, or have included, Brandon Mills.
