∙ Nail’s singing was influenced by Elton John’s way with melody, but it was Glen Campbell’s songs that made him want to pursue a country music career.
∙ His first No. 1 single, 2011’s “Let It Rain,” was inspired by a scene in the Zach Braff movie The Last Kiss.
