Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of our earliest musical moments was recording to a live audience in Mighty Fine Studios in Denver, CO. This studio session set the tone for the band's musical identity as we developed into a national touring act within only 6 months of forming.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hank Mobley, A Caddy For Daddy John Coltrane, A Love Supreme Miles Davis, Kind of Blue These albums have been invaluable in the development and innovation of Black American Music, which informs and influences all of the music that we compose and perform as a band.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of our most memorable moments thus far has been our debut U.S. tour, where we traveled to 6 mostly mid-western cities to bring our music to untraditional audiences. We were received with great excitement and hospitality.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To perform at Newport Jazz Festival, and to go on a European tour.
