Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my favourite early musical memories was the first time I went to a live gig. It was at Leeds T&C Club and I think I was 11 or 12. It totally blew my mind. I was instantly hooked. Follow me on Instagram @darkstatesmusic
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kiasmos, Kiasmos Radiohead, In Rainbows Talk Talk, Spirit of Eden There's something about the atmosphere of all these albums that completely envelopes me and removes me from whatever head space I'm in at the time. Tell us why you chose this song. “Flood” This track will always be special because it was the first track I wrote as Darkstates. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Right now my short-term ambition is just to make a body of work that I'm really proud of.
