Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember getting Raffi’s Baby Beluga for Christmas at 4 or 5. I pulled the record from its sleeve and played it on my first turntable—a Mickey Mouse player whose arm was Mickey’s own arm. I lifted it, dropped the needle, and my musical life began.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jeff Buckley, Grace Joni Mitchell, Blue Lucinda Williams, Car Wheels On a Gravel Road Grace: It’s a musical masterpiece Car Wheels On a Gravel Road: Everything is so visceral, I can literally smell the bacon frying Blue: It takes you into every peak and valley inside your own heart

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Willie Nelson and bringing my lifelong-fan dad onto his bus to meet him. Dad shook his hand, thanked him for being the soundtrack to his life, then immediately left. During the show, Willie kept pointing at him from the stage.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would really love to do the Howard Stern show. Ha!
