Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My friend and I performed "Mo Money, Mo Problems" in the 5th grade talent show. I was Puffy, he was Ma$e.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin Nas, Stillmatic OutKast, Stankonia These albums came out when I was in early high school and they were so influential to me. Back then, listening to albums was an experience. You never knew what to expect and every new track was a total surprise. I miss those days!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Millennial Dad” This is the first single I ever released. It's all about being a modern father and trying to be better than our dads were. My kids are everything to me, so this song was the perfect debut release.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had a veteran of the music industry tell me that I should use an artist tag in all of my songs. I decided to have my then 2-year old daughter say "Dad Got Bars" into my phone's voice recorder app and it was so perfect we only had to do it once!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I definitely want to collab with Connor Price. He's been a big inspiration to me. Watching him transition from actor to rapper really encouraged me to take the leap as well.
