Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember singing "Don't Worry, Be Happy" in the car with my mom. She used to play music by Michael Buble, Jason Mraz, Bruno Mars, etc. whenever she'd pick me up from school. My dad would play stuff like Switchfoot, Coldplay, Linkin Park, etc.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kendrick Lamar, DAMN. Kid Cudi, Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' Led Zeppelin, Mothership (Remastered) Led Zeppelin is a huge influence for me- the Mothership album is the perfect collection of their songs. DAMN is one of the best rap albums to exist.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Hear U” I wrote this song because I was going through these periods of isolation at the time and I felt as though nobody could hear what I was trying to say.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've had some people come up to me in person and say that they loved my music. Complete strangers that knew my name and developed a relationship to these songs that I had created alone in my room. It was surreal!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many things! Perform a setlist of my own songs for 500+ people! Host an interactive music & art exhibit! Record an album with Drake! Explore and create music with more cultures around the world! Play contemporary piano in a late night jazz bar!
