Philadelphia-based indie rockers Creepoid were formed in 2010 by singer/guitarist Sean Miller, singer/bassist Anna Troxell, and drummer Patrick Troxell. A mix of shoegaze and melodic noise pop with a distinctly grungy texture, they self-released their debut EP Yellow Life Giver in 2010, followed a year later by their first full-length, Horse Heaven. Elements of noisy, Sonic Youth-inspired rock, Brit-pop, and various other influences could be heard in their music debut, and before long they had signed to No Idea Records to release their self-titled follow-up in March 2014. In early 2015, Creepoid signed with Collect Records to deliver their third LP, Cemetery Highrise Slum, which arrived later that summer. ~ Timothy Monger
