Sharing its name with a colorful perennial flower, Creeping Pink is a self-described "tape glam" project by Landon Caldwell of California-based garage-psych band Burnt Ones. Originally based in Indianapolis, Caldwell began recording damaged electronic psych-rock under the name Bad Magick, quickly changing the project name to Creeping Pink. Caldwell relocated to San Francisco and eventually Los Angeles, releasing numerous tapes and digital releases along the way, and occasionally playing as Creeping Pink Machine with members of Burnt Ones and POW! John Dwyer's Castle Face label issued Creeping Pink's full-length debut Mirror Woods, a collage of woozy broken-synth psychedelic pop, in 2015. ~ Paul Simpson
