Artist Biography
Prolific Detroit-based producer Christian Jay Sienkiewicz makes atmospheric, melodic house music as Ice Cold Chrissy and Coyote Clean Up. After his family moved from Cleveland to Detroit, he played in various punk and indie bands and went to high school with electro wunderkind Jimmy Edgar. He listened to the city's eclectic local radio, drawing inspiration from the dream pop and alternative rock played on one station and the hip-hop, R&B, house, and techno played on others. Sienkiewicz began recording as Coyote Clean Up in the late 2000s, with bedroom recording sessions materializing in 2009. After releasing a split single with DenMother in 2011, Coyote Clean Up released four titles by April 2012. ~ Heather Phares
