Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing the song "Behind the Wall" by Tracy Chapman was one of my earliest musical memories. I think it stuck out so clearly because it was acapella; hearing that so early is probably one of the reasons why voices are so important to me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lou Reed, Coney Island Baby Nina Simone, Nina Simone: The Montreux Years (Live) Various Artists, Crossing the Bridge (The Sound of Istanbul) Lou Reed is one of the first singer-songwriters I discovered, he made me want to open up a notebook and see. Nina Simone singing Janis Ian is one the greatest things to happen and Crossing the Bridge contains some of the greatest voices in the world.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? This moment I am in right now. Something new is starting.
