Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My pops used to make beats off his Casio keyboard and record them on cassette tapes. There was one he did a remix of Big Moe's "Purple Stuff" and he has holding me while recording and I had started hitting keys cause I wanted to be in the mix too.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Childish Gambino, Because the Internet Kid Cudi, KiD CuDi presents SATELLITE FLIGHT: The journey to Mother Moon Tyler, The Creator, Wolf When these albums dropped they all had the power to make my brain just stop. Each time I go back and listen like a movie I just feel grounded. Fully aware of myself and my surroundings, while immersed in the moment like I was in the passenger's seat.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mad.” I really love this song. When I listen to it I just let myself be. Whatever emotions or thoughts happen, I let them fully consume me and I process it. It’s really one of my “thearapy” songs and I hope other people will feel a little less alone after.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The feeling of dropping a body of work for people to digest. I love making people think and I’m grateful to be blessed with the ability to make people feel. Every time I do I just feel a stillness around me. It’s indescribable and I love that peace.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Too many faces and too many places. We ain't even started yet, bro.
