Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In primary school, I used to sing on my way home. Shopkeepers who heard me would stop me and ask me to sing in exchange for ice cream or candy. I guess that’s when I started giving my first little concerts.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Levent Yüksel, Med Cezir Müslüm Gürses, Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever (Mucize ve Buluşma) Sezen Aksu, Deliveren I bought Sezen’s ‘Deliveren’ with my own money at age 10, so it’s very special to me. To me, ‘Medcezir’ is a leading album in Turkish pop. ‘Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever’ by Müslüm Gürses is my favorite; it feels like being by the sea.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Zaaf” ‘Zaaf’ wasn’t the first song I wrote, but it became my first release. It felt like it couldn’t wait its turn. People often hide their weaknesses to seem strong, but I wanted to show that vulnerability is simply part of being human.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I never imagined I’d feel so excited hearing my own song on the radio. It was a unique moment, full of mixed and hard-to-describe emotions.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? When I released my first song, I said it would be just a drop in the ocean — just one drop. My journey is long, but just as full of joy.
