Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I can still picture the worn wood of our secondhand upright piano in Christchurch, England, where, at six, I perched on my dad’s lap. Together, we pored over “A Dozen a Day,” passing on the fundamentals he’d once dreamed of mastering.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ennio Morricone, Ennio Morricone Greatest Hits 2017 Frank Sinatra, The Essential Frank Sinatra Various Artists, The Essential Ennio Morricone My dad’s love for Frank Sinatra molded my earliest listening memories, as he constantly sought Sinatra performances. And presently, I’m spellbound by Ennio Morricone’s works, which strike a perfect balance between easy listening and stirring emotion.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Dance of Dreams” “Dance of Dreams” starts with a lone melody, soon mirrored in a graceful interplay. A gentle harmonic cushion and enchanting dialogue conjure a nightly waltz through the corridors of the subconscious, inviting a luminous introspective journey.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I once performed a contemporary piano concerto at Beijing’s Egg Concert Hall in 2012, while being anxious about the audience’s reaction. However, their thunderous applause afterwards proved that music truly transcends every cultural boundary.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Composing stands foremost on my creative horizon. Though I’ve ventured into it before, collaborating with Karma Studios and Chris Craker ignited this project, allowing me to fully unleash my artistry as a composer.
