In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I used to chop up movie quotes and drop them in between verses. Like little monologues.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Corbin, Ghost With Skin Corbin, Mourn Frank Ocean, Blonde These three albums are special to me because they each shifted how I see and make music. When I first heard them, it felt like they opened a new world. The sounds, the emotion, the way they’re put together—they’ve stuck with me ever since.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Killa” There’s a weird tension in “Killa” that I love—like it’s teetering between control and collapse. The beat’s aggressive, but my delivery floats. That contrast is what makes it stand out to me. It feels alive, it feels like me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working with some of my favorite artists, like Yeat and Tecca, was beyond memorable—it was a growth spurt. I learned so much from watching how they approached their music, and it pushed me to take my sound to new heights.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I don’t have anything set in stone. I’m just here to create what feels right and stay true to myself. If I can keep making music that people love, that’s all I really need.
