Artist Biography

A lyrical, emotive performer, Nashville-based singer/songwriter Chelsea Lankes makes electronic-based pop that balances indie and dance-oriented sensibilities. Raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Lankes grew up in a musical family with a mom who was a singer. However, it wasn't until college that she began writing her own songs in earnest. In 2013, she found an audience online after her atmospheric debut single "Ghost" went viral. Buoyed by her success, she relocated to Los Angeles and released several more well-received tracks, including "Secret," "Down for Whatever," and "Too Young to Fall in Love." A self-titled EP appeared in 2016 featuring the single "Bullet," after which she relocated to Nashville. In 2018, Lankes delivered the effervescent single "Easy." ~ Matt Collar
