Charlie Peacock is an intelligent songwriter, producer, and performer with a voice as angelic as R&B legend Smokey Robinson's, but with an equal affinity for the finer points of mature songwriting. He has produced acts from Margaret Becker, the Choir and the 77's, to the Civil Wars, Holly Williams, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, and Chris Cornell. He's worked in film and television as a music supervisor, and recorded a host of genre defying albums from rock to pop to jazz--including Love Press Ex-Curio with Kurt Rosenwinkel and Ravi Coltrane and Arc of the Circle with Dave Matthews Band's Jeff Coffin and Marc Ribot--and has penned a handful of hits including Amy Grant's 1991 smash "Every Heartbeat," which placede at number two on the pop charts. He continues to release albums into the 2000s, including 2008's Arc of the Circle (with Dave Matthews Band guitarist Jeff Coffin) ,and 2012's No Man's Land. He also penned the theme for AMC’s TURN: Washington’s Spies. ~ John Bush
