Israeli guitarist/songwriter Charlie Megira made otherworldly, dream-state music that called on the deep reverb guitars of surf rock, bits of Cramps-esque psychobilly drama, gothic post-punk moods, and mostly a strange and beautiful character all his own. Megira worked prolifically in relative obscurity for the entirety of his brief life, releasing multiple albums on CD-R before his death in 2016. Shortly afterward, Numero Group began reissuing his music in the form of both singles and albums like the 2019 compilation Tomorrow's Gone and 2024's The End of Teenage.
