Artist Biography
A pioneer of the U.K. funky scene, DJ and producer Champion's music is filled with syncopated rhythms, colorful synths, and heavy yet bubbly basslines, blurring the lines between grime, garage, and house. He founded Formula Records during the early 2010s, and additionally appeared on labels including Hyperdub, Butterz, and Nest, while producing collaborations with Terror Danjah and Four Tet. His debut album, Snapshot, arrived in 2017, and he's steadily continued issuing singles, including 2024's "Talk to Me," a collaboration with Four Tet, Skrillex, and Naisha.
