About Chae Yeon
Artist Biography
A South Korean pop singer and entertainer, Chae Yeon (real name: Chae Yeon Lee, born December 10, 1978) had to start her career in Japan as Jinny and part of two groups, Brand New Biscuits and UltraCats. She returned to Korea in 2003 and released her debut there, It's My Time. She had a few successful singles from the debut, but it was to be her 2004 follow up that would push her to the top. A number one single, "Two of Us," and a controversial video was enough to cement Chae Yeon as a popstar to watch, and in 2005, her album III was released. Yeon promoted her musical career by appearing on a myriad of television shows, in both the reality and variety genres. In 2007, Chae Yeon released the album My Love. ~ Chris True
