Love her stuff top to bottom The engineer of my latest Brad Bensko turned me onto Esther - her album has been on rotation since I had my daughter - well written + feminine Valerie is southern magic - love her blend

Tell us why you chose this song. “The New Room” The song is named after a 1967 addition to my grandmother’s blue house in Tuscaloosa. When I wrote it, I didn’t know if I could get pregnant—felt like an act of power - if I didn’t have a child, I could celebrate the love made in my relationship
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Producing my forthcoming album “the new room” with a live band / loved ones at Bearded Cat Studio - a fully analog spot in Mystic, Connecticut!
