Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mom wasn't just a singer but the most charismatic entertainer I'd ever encountered. One day in church she began very soft, & then transitioned into a foot-stomping, church-rocking number that brought everyone to their feet. It was unforgettable.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Anthony Hamilton, iTunes Originals: Anthony Hamilton Aretha Franklin, The Best of Aretha Franklin Mary J. Blige, Apple Music Live: Mary J. Blige These three albums are my life. Growing up with Aretha, finding myself with Mary J., & falling in love with soul through Anthony, I discovered my musical identity. These artists didn’t just inspire me; they helped mold me into the singer I am today.

Tell us why you chose this song. “First Love” "First Love" is special as it marked my return to music after a hiatus. It reminded me that music & I are inseparable. It reignited my passion for the art, giving me the drive to share my musical journey with the world again. For that, I am grateful.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing the Florida Citrus Bowl halftime show for 60,000 people was surreal. Standing on the field with 300 cheerleaders, I couldn't help but think, "Is this my life?" It was a defining moment, reminding me of my incredible musical journey.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Playing the Montreux Jazz Festival is a dream of mine. I deeply respect the musicians who perform there annually, and it would be a full-circle moment for me, as it's one of the first major festivals my mom played alongside B.B. King.
