Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My grandmother was asked to sing a song at our family reunion. Once I heard her sing, the reaction from the audience was very intriguing to me. She made me feel connected with every word that she sung.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? CBR Scrip, Come Back Rich - EP Kevin Gates, Islah (Deluxe) Money Man, Paranoia Come Back Rich was my first project to get distributed, sorta like a first born child. Paranoia was the project that inspired me to become a full time artist. Islah (Deluxe) was the project to help me get through a tough time in my life.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Chief (Extended Version)” This song is one of the more emotionally fueled records that I have made. The song made a dance artist reach out from Time Square, New York to create a viral dance on social media. It made me realize how much music can inspire others.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having fans reach out to tell me how much my music inspired them. Fans from the least expected walks of life can relate to me and my music and some use my music to work out in the gym. Which is extremely satisfying for me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to create music with the artist that I have listened to over the years. This would be a good measuring tool for me to see how much I have grown myself as an artist.
