In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was only three when I asked for a saxophone for Christmas. My parents weren't sure I'd take to it so they bought me a plastic toy sax, which was impossible to play. Eighteen years later on Christmas morning a beautiful alto sax was under the tree.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Breathe Away” I wrote this song when I was 16 while in St. Augustine, FL for my cousin's wedding. My room overlooked the water. I was inspired in seconds and started writing 'Breathe Away' on my uke. It just came to me and was the first song I ever recorded.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? By far, going to Barcelona Spain for 3 weeks to finish the "Language Barrier" album and rehearse the live show at Room To Studio. Making the album was magical and going to Barcelona to work with my "found family" was amazing and awesome.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The whole world is my bucket list. I love being a musician—writing new songs, being in studio, traveling, performing live, meeting new people—all of it. For now I'm focused on releasing the "Language Barrier" album on 1/17/25 and playing live gigs.
