Swedish electronic producer and songwriter Castell emerged in 2016 on his hit "You Got It Wrong." The bass-heavy house track featured hypnotic bell drops and a throbbing beat, a sound that Castell had utilized in his past work under the moniker SAL. The Stockholm native gained a following in 2014 with his remixes of Style of Eye's "Kids" and "The Game," a pair of tracks by his mentor Linus Eklow (Galantis). After Eklow took him under his wing, Castell entered the studio with Miike Snow to begin recording his own material.
