In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Air guitaring in the back of my parents car to a Bon Jovi song, only to realise a family were right outside the window, watching me with some amusement.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ben Howard, I Forget Where We Were LINKIN PARK, Hybrid Theory Muse, Origin of Symmetry These three albums have pulled me through some of the lowest point in my life. In one way or another the music within has resonated with me at a certain stage in my life.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Butterfly” This is the first song I've written that really nails the style and sound that I'm going for. The nitty gritty production and live setting make for a more raw musical experience, which is what I want to offer out to the world.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I played an intimate, acoustic show here in New Zealand a few years ago. A bunch of my friends showed up, got comfortable, drank wine and sang songs with me for a couple of hours. One of the more memorable days of my life.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To play a string of shows across the US and Canada. Doesn't matter if it's arenas or dive bars either!
