Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mother used to play me and my siblings Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry" while we were growing up. Seeing her face light up with each listen made me realize the simple yet ever-important power of music
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, Desire Mac Miller, K.I.D.S. The English Beat, Special Beat Service Remastered One proves I'm American, one proves I'm British, and one proves I have taste.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Open My Letter” When I finished this song, I had just moved to Los Angeles at 16 from my hometown in Utah. I was pretty lonely, working 40 hour weeks at a restaurant on Fairfax. I knew it was special, and when it dropped, it changed everything for me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first show in Salt Lake City, UT... I was born & raised around the area so finally getting on a stage at Kilby Court and playing in front of 250 people just shattered my reality. For the first time, I felt content up there.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I feel there is a lot I have yet to say and do. Overall, I just want to inspire more kids to really believe in themselves. Everything inside of your head can turn into reality, you just have to build it into existence.
