Artist Biography
A trap and electro producer signed to Mad Decent, Brillz originally worked behind the scenes, playing in various bands while working with acts like Jeffree Star and AJ McLean. Born Sami Diament, the Los Angeles-based producer launched the electro act Ultraviolet Sound in 2008 while also working on Jeffree Star's breakthrough EP, Cupcakes Taste Like Violence. Work with AJ McLean and more Ultraviolet Sound releases followed, then in 2012 he joined ETC!ETC! and Diplo on the Bueller EP. His Twonk album was released in 2013 on Slow Roast while the remix version, Retwonked, landed before the end of the year. His Geekin EP, which featured a guest appearance from veteran rapper Gangsta Boo, arrived in 2015. ~ David Jeffries
