Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Starting to explore the piano at home, aged 2! This was the first time I had realized the power of music and how it could drive emotional reaction.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Marcus Miller, Silver Rain Miles Davis, Tutu Stanley Clarke, The Toys of Men Tutu was the first jazz album I heard that really spoke to me. The trumpet was the lead instrument on this classic Miles Davis album, however the work of Marcus Miller on this album was the original inspiration for me to pick up an electric bass.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Keep on Keepin' On” This track from my Sentiment album scored a #1 on all three of the Smooth Jazz Global charts back in 2019, making me the first independent artist to achieve that status. It continues to get positive radio play and streaming action around the world.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The points in time where I have got to meet some of the great artists of our time. Key would be Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke, Michael Becker and in recent times as I’ve been promoting my own music, the legendary Nathan East!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Plenty! More collaboration work is in the pipeline for sure, with artists here in North America and into Europe. I hope to set up some live performance dates in Europe/UK into 2026.
