In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up, my parents were very big lovers of gospel music. As seventh day Adventists, we would always listen to old Nigerian gospel songs, Ghanaian musicians like Ampong and Isaac as well as foreign top dawgs like Don Meon.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Mr Eazi, Life is Eazi, Vol. 1 - Accra To Lagos Sarkodie, Sarkology The Weeknd, After Hours The Weeknd has a unique voice representation. His delivery of music has a mysterious feeling to it which i aspire to achieve in my music. Mr Eazi's style of music is totally relaxing and soothing to my ear and gives me chills.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Allah” I wrote Allah at the lowest point in my life. At the time, I was battling depression, and nothing seemed to have been working for me. I totally fell into bad company and drug addiction. Allah was a cry for help to God.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment will probably be way back in senior secondary school when i was called upon to perform to the president of the country at the time.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I really want to propagate love and peace through my music. I want people to listen to my music and feel super happy and grateful for life. I stand for the truth and real love.
